OV2718 Image Sensor

OV2718 CMOS image sensor, based on PureCel® technology independently developed by OmniVision.

Full HD 1080P, 2MP (2 million pixels), 30fps

Resolution: The effective resolution is 1920×1080, supporting 1080P full HD video recording.

Frame rate: At full resolution, video can be captured at a rate of 30 frames per second (fps). But it is worth noting that there are also data that its maximum image transmission rate can reach 60fps.

Pixel size: Using 1/2.7-inch or 1/2.9-inch optical format, the pixel size is 3.0 microns x 3.0 microns or 2.8 microns x 2.8 microns.

Low-light camera

Due to the use of advanced PureCel® technology, the OV2718 can also perform well in low-light environments, capturing more details and less noise.

High Dynamic Range (HDR)

Supports multiple HDR modes, including multi-frame overlay and line-by-line exposure control, which can provide a wider dynamic range in complex lighting environments, ensuring that both bright and shadow parts can be clearly presented.

Output Format

Supports multiple output formats, including RAW data output, YUV format, and JPEG encoding output, etc., to meet different application requirements.

MIPI Interface

Adopts MIPI CSI-2/LVDS high-speed serial data transmission interface, supporting parallel 12-bit DVP output.
